Patient Appointment Coordinator

Job Description

Do you enjoy solving puzzles and love working in a fast-paced environment? We are a busy specialty dental practice that is looking for someone who has great customer service skills, thrives in a fast-paced environment, works well in a team, and is also able to independently problem solve.

Our ideal candidate should be able to perform the following duties:

  • Greets patients and answers calls in high volume setting
  • Schedules appointments
  • Confirms appointments
  • Maintains and organizes front desk and reception areas
  • Promptly sends and responds to correspondence
  • Properly and accurately prepares paperwork
  • Prepares and submits reports
  • Collects payments
  • Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance

The ideal candidate must also possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Must be detail-oriented
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work flexible hours Monday through Friday, including some evenings
  • Ability to work in multiple locations including Dublin, Springfield, Chillicothe, and New Albany

Required experience:

  • 2 years customer service
  • Experience in the healthcare field helpful, but not required

Required education:

  • High School or equivalent
  • Some college preferred
