Carol Dornisch/Administration Assistant
Carol’s Fun Facts:
She has developed into quite an avid Buckeye fan, after moving here from Gator country 16 years ago!
She enjoys training and showing her homebred horses and pony!
Some of her hobbies include: gardening, crafting, skiing, biking, and reading!
Carol joined Stoner Perio in 2007 bringing with her multiple years of experience in the medical and dental fields. While she is not busy working, she enjoys traveling to visit her two sons in Colorado.
Ryan Glass Fun Facts:
In his previous life, Ryan was a storm chaser!
Ryan would love to visit the Maldives in the Indian Ocean!
Ryan’s favorite casual restaurant is the Rusty Bucket (the buffalo chicken sandwich is the best)!
Ryan graduated from The Ohio State University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. He was even a Stoner Periodontic Specialist team member during his time at OSU. Ryan particularly enjoys the surgical aspects connected with his job as well as the wonderful opportunity for patient interaction. Ryan is a sports enthusiast with obvious loyalty to the buckeyes. He enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons and he loves to travel.
Kaela Flores/Patient Coordinator
Kaela’s Fun Facts:
She loves being a part of patient transformations!
She enjoys being home on the farm in Steeler Country!
She loves being connected with her small group through Church at Polaris!
Kaela brought her experience working in the field of business when she joined Stoner Periodontic Specialists in 2007. She has enjoyed the transition very much and feels her outgoing personality is a good fit for her position as Patient Coordinator. Kaela is a Pittsburgh native and loves traveling.
Katie Rausch/Dental Assistant
Katie Rausch Fun Facts:
Katie adores her baby nephew and niece!
In her free time, Katie enjoys using her talented makeup skills to beautify others!
Katie is a Columbus expert in dining out!
Biography: Katie joined Stoner Periodontic Specialists in 2006 while finishing up her studies at the Ohio Institute of Health Careers. She graduated with her radiology certificate. She loves working in the dental field because of the interaction she has with patients and the ability to help them achieve optimal dental health. When she’s not at work she enjoys time spent with her family, friends, and her dog.
David Collins/Dental Hygienist
David Collins Fun Facts:
David feels that educating patients about their dental health is the most enjoyable part about his job!
Although he hasn’t practiced in years, David has a black belt in Shotokan karate and used to instruct his own children’s self-defense class
While away from the office, you’ll likely find David on the bike trail, reading a book, or cooking in the kitchen
David, a part of the Stoner Periodontics team since 2011, carries a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene from The Ohio State University. Before working as a dental hygienist David was a jeweler for five years and studied Early Childhood Education. He loves his career and position at Stoner Periodontics Specialists but still enjoys working with kids and often volunteers at Children’s Hospital and the school program Head Start.
Amanda Sheipline/Dental Hygienist
When not working you will find Amanda spending time with her 10 year old daughter, Adrien and her
Amanda enjoys swimming, camping and cookouts.
She is the only left-handed hygienist at Stoner Periodontics Specialists!
Amanda has worked with Stoner Periodontics Specialist since July of 2012. She graduated with an Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from James A. Rhodes State College in Lima, Ohio in June of 2012. Amanda loves working as a hygienist because she believes she can change one smile at a time.
Daylin Mackintosh/Dental Hygienist
Daylin loves to travel. Backpacking with her mother through 11 countries in Europe was quite the experience. Her favorite places were Ireland and Italy. Daylin has also traveled to Hawaii and would love to one day return. A life goal is to visit every state, she has 15 more to go!
Daylin grew up in a small town in Ohio called Louisville, right beside Canton. Her immediate family lives in Canton now and she enjoy visiting them regularly. Daylin moved to Columbus almost two years ago and loves to call it home.
Daylin has been practicing dental hygiene for three years in Ohio. Daylin obtained her Associate’s degree in dental hygiene at Bergen Community College in New Jersey. She went on to complete her studies at OSU earning a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene.
Daylin feels that one of the most important things in life is education. She is always hungry to find out new and exciting things.
Chuck Lombardo/Practice Manager
Chuck was born and raised in Cleveland Ohio and moved to Central Ohio in 1996. Because of his Cleveland roots he is a Browns and Indians fan. Chuck enjoys spending his free time with his 6 nieces and nephews and loves travel, with his favorite destinations being the Italian countryside.
Chuck is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a BA in Economics. After graduation Chuck began his 13 year career in banking before his transition to Stoner Periodontic Specialists. Chuck’s passion is to help his community thrive, he does this by supporting the following organizations that he either volunteers at or has been on a Director’s Board for; Columbus Symphony Orchestra’s Picnic with the Pops, Ohio State Alumni Association, Wexner Center for the Arts-GenWex, Westerville Music & Arts Festival, Columbus Soup kitchen.
Jane Kidder/Marketing Coordinator
Having spent her entire life in Columbus and her summers on a lake in that State up North, Jane assures us that she does bleed scarlet & grey. Her husband, daughter, and her spend as much time as they can outdoors. They enjoy activities such as hiking, kayaking, and fishing… anything, as long as they can see the sky. She admits to living vicariously through her daughter as she is in her first year of showing horses in 4H. She enjoys refinishing furniture to decorate her own home, or better yet to resell at her antique business she operates with her 2 sisters. She believes in the good in people & that humor is necessary to keep her sane. She also says, and I quote; “I love my gums!” After all, she’s not only an employee, she’s also a patient.
Lewis is a graduate from The Ohio State University in 2003! He prides himself in providing exceptional care to his patients. In his free time he enjoys coaching his 2 boy’s football teams, traveling, and is an avid archer and outdoorsman. He gives back to the community by volunteering at a dental clinic a few evenings a month.
Whitney graduated with her Associate of Applied Science in Dental hygiene degree from Sinclair Community College in 2009. After working for five years in general dentistry, she was ready to make a change and joined Stoner Periodontic Specialist in June of 2014. She has really enjoyed the transition and particularly enjoys the surgical aspects of the job. She loves working with patients towards a goal of overall health through education and treatment. Outside of work, Whitney spends her time with friends and family. She is from Urbana, Ohio and loves the small town life.
Maria Steger/Patient Coordinator
Maria was born and raised in small towns in Minnesota, but has since moved all around the midwest from college at North Dakota State University, relocating to La Crosse, Wisconsin for her retail Store Manager position, and finally to Columbus in November, 2013. She joined Stoner Periodontics in August, 2014, and is very pleased with her career change from helping people with their wardrobes to helping them improve their health and beautiful smiles! Maria loves to travel, dance, attend sporting events, and spend time with family and friends. She is a big fan of the MN Twins and Dallas Cowboys, and is slowly transforming into a Buckeye’s fan. She is very excited to be in Ohio and to explore all that it has to offer (especially the food)!
Becky Shy/Patient Coordinator
Becky’s passion has always been her family. She has helped raise 3 sons and now has 3 granddaughters. Her youngest son is a sophomore at Wittenberg University where he plays on the Men’s lacrosse team. Over the years, she has become an avid sports fan as a result of sitting on the sidelines of many soccer and lacrosse games. She also enjoys singing in the folk choir at St Mary’s church, reading, taking walks with her husband and dog around German Village, going to movies, and just hanging out with good friends and family.
Becky is a graduate of Ohio State University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene. After 20 plus years she has retired from hygiene and taken on the position of treatment coordinator at Stoner Periodontics. She enjoys being part of the front office team and interacting with the patients from a new perspective. The ultimate goal is helping patients regain control of their dental health, thus, helping their overall health.
Lauren Williams/Insurance Coordinator
Lauren studied at Bradford College and graduated in 2007. In her own words, Lauren works at Stoner Periodontic Specialists because she strives to make a difference. Her position as Benefit Coordinator is important to her because she has a high regard for patient association. It is personally satisfying to her because she makes every effort possible to make a difference. Lauren enjoys staying physically active and spending time with her dogs; Bentley, Gracie and Sadie.
Jessica was born in East Tennessee, but grew up in Pickerington, Ohio. She is a part of a huge family that she loves spending time with including 3 nieces and 1 nephew. Jessica has an English bulldog, and a Siberian husky that are truly her pride and joy, and she adores all animals. She loves Columbus, and exploring the city. She is a huge Ohio State Buckeyes fan as well as all Cleveland sports! Jessica enjoys working for Stoner Periodontic Specialists because she loves meeting new people and helping them change their lives for the better.
Robin joined Stoner Periodontal Specialists in September 2014 with 12 years of prior periodontal experience in the central Ohio region. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, Clint. Some of her hobbies include cooking (her husband says she is the BEST cook ever), gardening, antiquing, and reading. She values the communication, interaction and ability to impact, not only each patient’s oral health, but his or her overall health.
